The Entrepreneurship Motivation Training module was taken by Mrs: Rita sharma. This is very Important module for the budding social entrepreneur. This module thought us how entrepreneurs should build their carrier, management skill, resource utilization knowledge etc. The module Instructor had taken class very effectively through teaching and practical activities. In this module we did game called tower building and throwing ring. These games very nearly related to the social entrepreneurship activities.

Village Stay

Village study is one of the important modules in Deshpande Fellowship Program. I went to Jinnur village for study; it has been one of the good experiences in my life because during this study time we have to stay in villagers home. This is wonderful because in that situation I have practically gained knowledge about villager’s life style. This study helped me to understand briefly about the village social, economic, religious and political situations.

Logical Frame Work Analysis

I I learn t what LFA is and how can I use this tool in preparing projects. This was the interesting module taught by the Prakash Bhatt. A logical frame Framework analysis is a tool for planning and managing development Projects. It looks like a table (or framework) and aims to present information about the key Components of a project in a clear, concise, logical and systematic way. It is not the only planning tool, And should not be considered an end in itself, but Using it encourages the discipline of clear and Specific thinking about what the project aims to do And how, and highlighting those aspects upon which Success depends.

MOVE Marketing

I learn t important module of MOVE marketing in DF program. In this module I did market analysis. It helped me to understand the situation of market, skills of sellers and intelligence of customers. I did my move marketing through selling tea in Uncle Lake. It was the great experience and it is taught me about how to convince customers to buy our products (tea). Through this module I got knowledge regarding how to Invest money in business and how to get profit out of it.

Module of Micro Finance

The micro finance module was thought by the Vijay Kulkarni. He thought how micro finance exists and what the importance of micro finance to people is. Micro finance is the provision of financial services to low-income clients, including consumers and the self-employed, who traditionally lack access to banking and related services. The micro finance services are really helping poor to come out from their poverty and helping them to Improve their life styles. Presently in India these micro finance agencies are doing good job.

Module of Public Health

The health module is thought me to understand the villager’s health status in India. She thought about public health. The public health is concentrate on preventive measures rather than curative measures and it also concentrate on population level health status not to the Individual health status. Currently India has been implementing so many health programs like 108 ambulance service and giving free Immunization services to 0-6 year children, nursing mothers and pregnant women. Today in India people are easily getting affordable health services from public health programs.

Right to Information Act

This act is come in to existence on 12^th October 2005. This act is the weapon of the common people to get information from the government organizations and some the institutions. This act sections are very helpful to get information from the various organizations of the India. We filed applications in different offices of Hubli- Dharwad after taking the RTI module. We did RTI rally in Hubli with bicycle rally, street play and candle marching. This activity creates awareness among common people about Importance and utilities of RTI act.

Module of Effective Communication

The effective communication module was taught by Mrs. Neelam. In this module I learn t key skills of communication those are effective listening, eye contact, good presentation, voice modulation, body language and Interacting with the audience. These are the key points of good communicator. To use these skills we have to do our presentation than it will more effective and we can easily get audience attention and appreciation.

Module of Agriculture

I learn t about Agriculture in DF program. This agriculture module was taught by the staff members of AME foundation. They thought us how farmers are growing crops these days. In this module I learn t how to grow paddy with using SRI method. This is one of the good method to grow crops, through applying this method farmers are getting more yield, more fodder with less usage of fertilizers and water. We practically visited Amblikoppa village to see the usage of SRI method by farmers.

Participatory Rural Appraisal

Participatory Rural Appraisal method is thought by the Prakash Bhatt. He thought about how to do participatory rural appraisal with the involvement of villagers. In this module I learn t about social mapping, triangulation, transact walk, seasonal mapping and draw the Venn diagram. These all are key points of the PRA module. To using these techniques we can easily understand the village situation. We did PRA in village called Surashettikoppa. It gave lot of knowledge to understand PRA in village level Itself.
